Indiana Surgery Center South
The Indiana Surgery Center South, located on the Community Hospital South campus, is a multi-specialty outpatient surgery facility. The center is connected to the hospital and recently underwent an expansion to meet the growing needs of the community.
The expansion featured additional surgical suites, private patient rooms and extended stay rooms. The waiting area was completely renovated to provide warmth, privacy and extra amenities to comfort families as they wait during the surgery period. Other new features include free wireless Internet access, newly refurbished café-style booths for dining or work and a new children's activity center.
In addition to the expansion of the surgery center, the new construction added additional medical office space for physicians. There is also a new entrance off U.S. 31 that leads directly to the surgery center.
