Extended Stay Option
Several outpatient surgical procedures performed at the Indiana Surgery Centers require that patients be observed by our nursing staff for longer periods of time following surgery. Our Recovery Center allows patient to recuperate in a private room with discharge possible within 24 hours. A stay of less than 24 hours is still considered outpatient surgery by insurance companies. For your safety we will not discharge anyone past 10:00 p.m. Patients are discharged by 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
If you are scheduled for an extended stay, a family member may stay with you if desired. For a patient under 18 years of age, we require that a parent or guardian remain with the child. At the discretion of the Medical Director or designee, an adult may be required to stay with the patient if medically necessary. Each room has a TV/VCR and telephone for added convenience. Please bring any personal items or toiletries that you may wish to have during your overnight stay.
Overnight accommodations are available to family members at nearby hotels at a discounted rate. Please contact us for a list of participating hotels.
